How to find peace – it is a simple request, yet one that millions of people around the globe hold in their heart.
“How to find peace” is the mission of Jizo and Chibi and this website. The name Jizo and Chibi refers to Jizo Bodhisattava (the Buddhist guardian of all people on earth), and – Chibi (Japanese for “Little One”), a manifestation I created early in my career as a psychotherapist, and in harmony with my Buddhist principles as I integrated then into my therapy practice.
My guided meditations and breathing exercises are part of our offerings, along with my mindfulness and meditation blog, to help with anxiety and depression. Our Jizo and Chibi jewelry lovingly protect the wearer, and our books for children make wonderful gifts. Books include What I Heard & What You Said and Why a Fly?
For me, there is a strong connection between our jewelry and the quest for peace. Sometimes we all feel small like infants longing to feel safe; to be seen, heard and understood. In our jewelry – Jizo holds Chibi to his chest, where he is often depicted carrying a pearl or precious stone to light the darkness. Many have found these images and icons to be powerful and soothing. I hope you embrace Jizo and Chibi so they may comfort you and bring you light.
Whether your search has led you to this site from a desire to learn how to meditate using our guided meditations, blogs and breathing exercises, or simply because you are seeking peace, we have something to help you on your path of inner peace, calm and balance.
